We all remembered him as “Spock” in Star Trek but probably few knew him as a photographer. Leonard Nimoy’s passing recently on Friday was another sad loss for the world but he not only left behind memorable moments on film but also photos of his passion – photography, such as this project featuring full-bodied women entitled The Fully Body Project.

The The Fully Body Project was inspired by a full-figured woman who approached Nimoy and asked if he might photograph her and her friends.
